2012.01.25 Soybean Rust Confirmed at Greytown

Soybean rust has been confirmed in PAN 1454R planted as an indicator crop in Greytown. PAN 1454R is at R6 (full seed). There are no symptoms on PAN 737R which is at R3 (beginning pod). Both varieties were planted 24/10/2011.

2012.01.18 Soybean Rust Found at Cedara

Soybean rust has been found on kudzu plants, last week the 5th January 2012. The lesions were sporulating and very easy to find.
